Scarlet Flores Journal is a reading site. There is nothing to buy, no account to create and no membership to join, so we handle very little information about you. This note explains, in plain English, what a site like ours typically processes and how to reach us with questions. It is not legal advice.

What we do not collect

Server logs

Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps routine technical logs. These usually include the date and time of a request, the page requested, your IP address, and the type of browser and device you are using. Logs like these help keep the site running, spot errors and protect against misuse. They are not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone.

Cookies

A simple reading site needs few, if any, cookies. Where a cookie is used, it is for basic functions such as remembering a display preference. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the articles will still be readable.

The contact form and email

Our contact page shows a form layout, but the simplest way to reach us is by email. If you email info@scarletflores.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply, for example about a correction or a tip, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Links to other sites

Our venue and article pages may mention outside organizations, such as a theater, a garden or a government health site. Once you leave this site, that organization's own privacy practices apply.

Children

The journal is written for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes and questions

If how the site works changes, we will update this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@scarletflores.com. For more about how the journal operates, see our Questions page.
